Ms. Anupama Arigala graduated from National Law University Delhi in 2014. She is an independent practitioner and regularly appears before the Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh. Her primary areas of expertise and practice include criminal law, civil law and constitutional law. ”
Ms. Dona Mathew (Researcher)
Ms. Dona Mathew completed her Masters from National Law University Delhi with a specialisation in Criminal and Constitutional Laws. She has experience in Research and Policy-making in the areas of gender rights, education reforms, land rights, humanitarian law, and access to justice. She is a Researcher for the Committee.
Ms. Mehak Bajpai (Research Associate)
Ms. Mehak Bajpai completed her Masters in Criminal and Constitutional Law in 2018 from National Law University Delhi. Her doctoral research is on the positive obligations and study of omissions in criminal law in India, inspired by Professor Ashworth’s work on the same. She is an Honorary Researcher for the Committee.
Ms. Monal Gera (Research Associate)
Ms. Monal Gera is a Graduate from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and has completed her LL.M. from University of California, Los Angeles with a specialisation in Criminal Justice. Her primary areas of interest are prison law and policy, sentencing, and victims’ rights. She is a Research Associate for the Committee.
Ms. Mugdha Pande(Research Associate)
Mugdha completed her LLB from SOAS, University of London. She is a practicing advocate at the Supreme Court of India and regularly appears before High Courts of Delhi and Bombay. She is a versatile lawyer and has worked on a range of matters pertaining to criminal, civil, labour, family and constitutional law. She is a junior counsel at the Chambers of Sr Adv Mahesh Jethmalani.
Ms. Parul Madan(Research Associate)
Ms. Madan graduated from National Law University, Delhi in 2016. At NLU Delhi, she was a part of various Research Projects conducted by the College. After her graduation she has been engaged in litigation in courts in Lucknow. Her primary areas of interest are Criminal Law, Family Law and Matrimonial disputes and Women rights.
Ms. Sanya Sud(Research Associate)
Sanya graduated from National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) in 2016. At NLU Delhi, she was part of the team that assisted the Law Commission of India in its 262nd Report on the Death Penalty (2015). After graduation, she has been engaged in litigation in Courts in New Delhi, and at present, is a part of the office of Mr. Jayant K. Sud, Ld. Additional Solicitor General of India.
